Arlington Cinema&Drafthouse

Ladies, if you want to impress your man on a simple "this place is awsome" kind of level, I highly recommend the Cinema&Drafthouse. If you never had the sheer pleasure of having to watch movies on a laptop in your car because you went to this college, well, actually, you missed out on a lot. Theres nothing quite like being able to watch 6 episodes of 24 in a row, with a case of beer, a pack of cigarettes, some grocery store sushi, and.......your girlfriend. That being said, this is the next best thing. Wide open spaces, fairly cheap beer (for DC) and a good eclectic selection of movies, make The Drafthouse one place I cant wait to get back to. If you arent excited yet, and by that I mean sexually, they have midnight showings on weekend nights. Last weekend they had the Dude in all his glory! How hot is that! Now, movies like Pride & Prejuidice arent my cup of tea, but I guess even the best make mistakes. The website says they're on oscar watch, but if that means a 24hour marathon of "that Brokeback", the wedding's off. Liverevolt said it best (cue Jan 16). Proust!
